discover spt's style
My approach combines an editorial and candid style to perfectly capture every aspect of your celebration in a visually
heartfelt and unique way. Relating to approach, what I do is typically called "loose editorial" by the industry, which is a 50/50 blend of a candid/narrative approach with an editorial style.
I want you to be yourselves in front of the camera.
I focus on creating an experience that feels effortless and collaborative. I achieve this by working closely with each of my couples and their team to understand their priorities and approach the day with intention. Rather than directing every moment, I document weddings as they unfold, capturing meaningful interactions, creating effortless portraits, design details, and the atmosphere that defines the celebration.
My goal is to create photographs that hold their value over time. Images that reflect the reality of the day, preserve the energy and emotion, and allow you to revisit the experience years later with those same feelings, held within the frame.
about sarah
I'm so glad you have arrived here! My name is Sarah Puliatti-Thomas, and I am a Pittsburgh and Philadelphia based wedding photographer. My background is rooted in a deep understanding of photography, with my degrees in photojournalism, from film processes to modern editorial imagery. The psychology behind photographing humans is the foundation that informs every project I take on, whether documenting a wedding or creating elevated visual work for brands.

Outside of weddings, I spend my time with my husband, Chef Jeremy Thomas, our daughter Vienna Faye, my mama, and my Italian father (who really cultivated my love for photography and encouraged me in whatever my dreams were). Family holds a lot of meaning in my life.
